DFP has been tested to BS 476, ISO 1182 and SI 755, and has been demonstrated to exceed the requirements of BS 8613:2017, including the 25 Newton shield implosion test. In testing, DFP withstood forces in excess of 200 Newton without failure—far surpassing the BS test.
